The underside of the frieze drawer stamped 'B932' and inscribed in pencil '08445', with a later paper property label for Princess Margaret

Lot Essay

The Louis XV style table has its elegantly serpentined top parquetried in Roman-mosaic, and relates to the manufactures of the celebrated Parisian ébénistes Messrs. Sormani, whose establishment in the rue Charlot was opened in 1867.
