NO. 7 OF 30 COPIES reprinted from Cricket. This was the second booklet in the series, there being no issue for 1900. It preserves the same format as the first, the "Memorabilia" section at the end reporting on a wide range of interesting and curious facts in minute print. Catton, the recipient of this copy, published An Excursion into Cricket Literature in 1911, and in it first drew the comparison between Ashley-Cooper and Herodotus. Wynne-Thomas p. 20; Padwick 920.
