Inlaid overall on four sides with scrolling floral sprays, the serpentine-shaped rectangular top above a shaped fall-front reversing to a leather-lined writing-surface and enclosing an open compartment over a pair of drawers with further secret drawers behind and flanking a pigeonhole, all above a compartment with sliding cover, the case with curved sides and back, on cabriole legs ending in scroll-cast sabots
