QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)

Of hu shape, applied with three nephrite-carved squirrels, two leaping in mid-air and a third perched on a branch, the vase deeply carved with wisteria branches intertwined with long coiling vines and bearing large leaves with curly edges and lush bunches of grapes, the waisted neck with further fruiting branches, all against a diaper ground, with key-fret bands encircling the foot and shoulder, the base with black lacquer
