A Chinese cloisonne square hu vase, 19th century
pear-shaped, with tubular handles beneath the waisted neck rising to the flared mouth, decorated with horses flying above waves amidst flames, cloud scrolls and precious objects, decorated around the foot with trefoils enclosing flowers, the base with a stylised flower and the interior green enamelled -- 9 13/16in. (25.3 cm.) high
