Frosted gilt three quarter plate movement with screw in chaton jewelling to the centre and repeating train, overcoil balance spring and bimetallic balance wheel, tandem keyless winding and repeating and striking by twin hammers on wire gongs operated by repeating trip in the band, striking Grande Sonnerie or Petite Sonnerie adjustment lever in the bezel at 6 o'clock and silent/silent lever under the bezel at 12 o'clock, white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and blued steel spade hands, hinged gold cuvette, in circular hinged case with plain polished covers with maker's initials A.S for Alfred Stram
