Modern vellum, the front cover painted in red, green, brown and blue and heightened with golf, with a picture of a walled city at top above the printer's device of a tree with the motto "Semper Virens" and a cartouche at bottom with the place and date of publication, lettering in manuscript longitudinally on spine (covers slightly bowed). Provenance: Dr. Federico Bauer (signature dated 30 May 1935 on flyleaf); purchased from Emil Offenbacher, 24 June 1960.
