Oblong miniature format (37 x 52 mm). (Without original contents.) Sides and doublures covered with cream enameled panels containing mythological scenes in fine grisaille painting, elaboratedly bordered in a rococco style, spine enameled with tulips in grisaille, enameled clasp. Provenance: purchased from Emil Offenbacher, 21 June 1955.
AN EXTREMELY FINE MINIATURE ENAMELED BINDING.
