The ozier-moulded ground reserved with quatrefoil recessed panels painted en camaïeu rose with battle scenes after J.P. Rugendas within gilt and puce-line borders, the ground with scattered holzschnitt Blumen and insects below a border painted and gilt with ropetwist ornament, the cover with a flower finial (minor chipping to finial and one leaf restuck, shallow chip to underisde rim of cover)
The stand 11¼ in. (28.5 cm.) wide
