A William & Mary ebony striking table clock with pull quarter repeat

The case with gilt-brass repoussé basket top surmounted by a handle cast with addorsed caryatides, later brass finials, glazed sides, repoussé mounts to the front door and on gilt-brass bun feet, the 6½in. square brass dial signed F DelaFeuille London on the silvered chapter ring with blued steel hands, the matted centre with ringed winding holes and ring-turned decoration to the false pendulum and calendar apertures, winged cherub spandrels, strike/silent lever above XII, the movement with five ring-turned pillars, twin gut fusees and spring barrels, knife-edge verge escapement, hour strike on a bell with pull quarter repeat on four bells via four hammers and rosette-engraved pulley mounted on the backplate with further profuse foliate engraving centred by a winged cherub supporting a basket of fruit and with foliage issuing from the cherub's mouth, all within a wheatear engraved border, the movement secured to the case by means of turnscrews behind the dial plate
