The Louis XV style waisted case with urn finial and cast with foliate ornament and with mock sound frets to front and sides, on plinth, the white enamel Roman and Arabic dial signed Bataille/à Orleans, pierced gilt-metal hands, the eight day twin barrel movement with countwheel strike on bell and stamped for VINCENTI -- 21½ in. (54.5 cm.) high; and the matching pair of five-light candelabra, also raised on plinths -- 19 in. (48 cm.) high (3)
