The waisted case cast with shells and rocaille, surmounted by a figure of Neptune and with mount to the front of a cherub astride a sea dragon, with automaton ship below rocking against a background painted with a lighthouse in a seaside town, on mahogany plinth housing pull-wound pinned cylinder musical movement with trip to rise and fall lever for ship, the silvered dial with Roman chapter ring, engine-turned centre signed on a reserve HRY MARC A PARIS, blued steel Breguet hands, the eight day movement with silk suspension and countwheel strike on bell, with repeat stamp to back plate -- 20 in. (51 cm.) high; pendulum
