A Tibetan gilt bronze model of Mahakala, 17th/18th Century
standing in pratyalidhasana, trampling on a Ganesha, the fierce red haired six-armed dharmapala holding a kapala and kartrika in his principal hands, the top hands hold the leg ends of the elephant skin cloak on his back, wearing a celestial scarf, a headdress of skulls and a necklace of severed heads - 4in. (10.2cm) high.
