A Bronze figure of the Dharmapala Yama, 17th/18th Century
modelled standing in pratyalidhasana, his bulls head with aggressive expression and long pointed tongue, wearing anornate headdress with inlaid hard stones, an elephant skin cloak and necklace of severed human heads, holding before him a kapala and kartika, on an oval lotus base - 6¾in. (17.2cm) high.
