The rectangular top with D-ends above a plain frieze, on octagonal baluster legs set on a rectangular plinth, with two extra leaves, the underside stamped 1705 with typed label 'THE NEW MALABAR TIMBER YARDS AND SAW MILLS, LTD KALLAI, S MALABAR', and one leaf with a depository label inscribed in ink 'MAJOR G. KIRKBRIDE'
