20th Century, incorporating earlier elements
The shaped rectangular brèche d'Alep marble top above a writing-slide lined with gilt-tooled brown leather, veneered overall with rosette-filled trellis panels, the right side with a drawer fitted with compartments, above cabriole legs headed by acanthus and scroll mounts and terminating in sabots, the drawer stamped twice 'MOREAU', the underside of the table with remains of old label inscribed in ink '...RLEY', with inventory labels inscribed respectively K/I308 and K/I145, the top probably of later date, the frieze reveneered
