Nepal, 18th Century
Finely modeled seated in rajalilasana over a double lotus base with beaded edges, her right hand in varada mudra and her left held in the gesture of elucidation supporting a lotus stalk, wearing an incised dhoti, beaded necklace, armbands and tiara set with hardstones, her serene face flanked by long earlobes with large lotus blossom earrings, her hair drawn into a high double chignon
