Tibeto-Chinese, 18th century
Seated in dhyanasana, holding a lotus bearing a book in his hands, clad in a voluminous dhoti with a floral border secured high at the waist, a shawl around his shoulders, wearing multiple necklaces, the face with delicately rendered features surmounted by an elaborate foliate tiara, the base sealed with a gilt baseplate incised with the double-vajra in the center
