Provenance
This painting of Jamini Roy was given to the father of the present owner, Thomas Wasmouth, on his 40th brithday, February 10, 1957. Mr. Wasmouth,who lived and work in India with his family for over 15 years, was the factory manger of WIMCO (Western Indian Match Company) in Calcutta at that time.
