ZEFRAM COCHRANE STATUE

Academy-award nominated actor James Cromwell played the great Zefram Cochrane in Star Trek: First Contact. In that film, Geordi La Forge told him that a statue would one day be erected in his honor, even demonstrating the pose of the monument. Star Trek artist Doug Drexler sculpted Cromwell as Cochrane for a photo in a book, and his sculpture ended up as set decoration in Captain Archer's quarters.
