The cartouche-form reddish-brown lacquer panel decorated with a landscape with pagodas, issuing a central porcelain well flanked by a pair with pierced ormolu lids, within an ormolu surround cast with laurel rope garlands and scrolls, on Greek-key-cast feet, the underside stamped 'B' and numbered, probably by a 19th century restorer
