A MATCHED GARNITURE OF ORMOLU-MOUNTED CHINESE PORCELAIN VASES

Comprising a single and a pair of baluster vases and a pair of trumpet vases, each decorated in underglaze blue with copper red and white slip decoration against a pale blue ground, with butterflies and foliage in blue tones, the single vase of hexagonal baluster shape with scrolling foliate handles and foliate lid and terminating in six paw feet, one pair of hexagonal trumpet vases with short scrolling handles and on six toupie feet, and one pair of hexagonal baluster shape with foliate scrolling handles and foliate lids, terminating in toupie feet, the handles and neck mounts of the pair of baluster vases and all lids 19th century, mounts to the single baluster vase 18th century
