each with shallow rounded sides rising to the wide everted rim, supported on a tapering foot, the well painted with a medallion enclosing ladies on a terrace, two seated playing musical instruments, another standing holding a floral sprig, and the fourth standing by, the rim with cartouches enclosing floral sprigs reserved on a swastika ground, the undersides with retreats amongst rockwork, underglaze blue Qi yu bao ding zhi zhen ('Precious Object of Rare Jade among Treasured Vessels') mark -- maximum 11 1/8in. (28.2cm.) diam. (2)
