A RARE CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL HATSTAND
QIANLONG (1736-95)
Made in four sections and decorated with four shou characters surrounded by floral scrolls on the quatrefoil spherical top, the reticulated cover with further scrolls, all supported by a slender stem on a broad circular stepped base, decorated with geometric motifs, ruyi-heads, 'C'-scrolls and meandering hibiscus

Lot Essay

A pair of cloisonné enamel and jade hat stands were recently sold in our New York rooms, 19 September 2006, lot 98.
