Feather-banded on the front, the cavetto cornice above three short and three long drawers flanked by fluted canted corners, the lower section with a secretaire drawer fitted with six pigeon-holes, four small drawers and a central cupboard, above three graduated drawers, on bracket feet, inscribed in chalk on the reverse 'CLARE' and with remains of depository label, the handles apparently original
