Lot Essay

Douglas Clark played his first game for Huddersfield against Hull KR in September 1909, and went on to play 485 games, scoring 99 tries for them. He won three Challenge Cup winners medals and three Championship medals, and scored a hat-trick of tries in the 1913 Championship final. He played in 11 test matches against Australia and New Zealand, toured with the Lions in 1914 and 1920 and won a further seven caps for England.
