A pair of amber-glazed altar vessels and covers, dou, Guangxu mark and of the period
each stembowl raised on a foot with a spreading base, moulded in low relief with archaistic motifs and geometric designs, the domed cover encircled around the rim with a key-fret border, the spherical finial in the centre of a floral design, with the lappets terminating in a ruyi form, incised six-character Guangxu mark -- maximum 9 13/16in. (24.8cm.) high. (2)
