A pair of large Cantonese vases, 19th Century
of baluster form with twin moulded gilt Buddhistic lion and cub handles and two pairs of scrolling dragons to the shoulder, painted with panels of figures at leisure amongst pavilions and gardens, others with flying insects amongst flower sprays, surrounded by scrolling foliage, butterflies and flowerheads on a gilt ground - 35½in. (90.2cm) high. (2)
