RARE FIRST EDITIONS. This famous miscellany was published at the initiative of V.A. Zhukovskii to mark the relocation of the celebrated Smirdin library-bookshop to its Nevski Prospect address. The Smirdin library was at the centre of literary activity during the age of Pushkin. The collection includes Pushkin's 'Domik v Kolomne', the sublime story by Gogol' 'Povest o tom, kak possorilsia Ivan Ivanovich s Ivanom Nikoforvichem', and Zhukovskii's 'Skazka o tsare Berendee'.
