Tasting Note: An astonishingly high percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon (93.3 with Merlot 6.7 the final assemblage including 10 press wine. The grand vin was just 36 of the total harvest. March 2001: opaque, intense, purple rim, crisp, fragrant, pronounced Cabernet Sauvignon aroma and flavour; sweet, wonderfully ripe, fleshy, extended with dry leathery tannic finish. ***** Great wine with a long life ahead.
