THE MAJORITY WITH MARK OF WILLIAM FOUNTAIN, LONDON, 1806
Each piece circular with lobed sides and on four shell feet, with shell handles, the detachable covers with a conjoined triple-shell finial, engraved with a crest, comprising:
A soup tureen and cover, the base engraved 'No. 2 116=2
14½ in. (37 cm.) wide
Four entrée dishes, covers and differing liners, the two shallow liners with mark of Robert Garrard, London, 1822, the bases further engraved 'No. 1 51=5'; 'No. 2 54=8'; 'No. 3 50=10' and 'No. 4 50=0', the liners with further scratchweights'

Two sauce tureens and covers, one with mark of The Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Co., London, 1918, the base on one further engraved 'No. 2 31=1
