The solid gold component parts comprised a fountain pen as the barrel, a cigarette case as the magazine, a lighter as the hammer and bullet chamber and a cufflink as the trigger. In the U.S. the advance movie posters displayed the various gun parts explaining how they fit together with the tag line The Man With The Golden Gun Is Ready To Assassinate James Bond.
