A MILITARY WHEEL-LOCK PISTOL
Circa 1650
With two-stage barrel octagonal at the breech, plain strongly bevelled lock retained by two side-nails, fitted with later external wheel, sliding pan-cover, later full-stock, flattened pommel bound by an iron band, later iron trigger-guard, iron ramrod-pipe and iron-tipped ramrod.
