With ovoid, half-fluted body on similarly decorated trumpet foot, the ribbed handle terminating in leaves, gadroon borders, the front later inscribed "Presented by Lt. Col.Lord De Tabley to Henshall Cartlidge, for the best shot with carbine in the Earl of Chester's Yeomanry Cavalry, June 1st., 1865", 12 5/8 in. high (32.2 cm.), 36 oz.
