A Chinese celadon glazed tripod censer, Ming dynasty
of compressed globular form rising to the flat everted rim, supported on three feet in the form of mythical beasts, the exterior incised with a foliate scroll, covered with a pale celadon glaze except for the well and the plugged base -- 6 7/8in. (17.4cm.) diam.; and a blue and white bottle, painted with panels enclosing pagodas and a figure in a mountainous river landscape alternating with chrysanthemum flowers amidst rockwork, all framed by diaper grounds, the top with a ruyi-head border encircled by floral sprays, 18th century -- 10 5/16in. (26.2cm.) high (2)
