A FRENCH AND DANISH SILVER-PLATED TEA-SERVICE
BY CHRISTOFLE, LATE 19TH CENTURY, SOME DANISH, MAKER'S MARK HCH
Each pear-shaped with reeded scroll handles, each engraved with Greek cypher below Greek Royal crown, comprising; two hot water-jugs, a teapot, a milk-jug, a cream-jug and four various sugar-bowls, two with covers
the hot water-jug 6½ in. (17 cm.) high
The cypher is that of King George I of the Hellenes, Prince of Denmark (1845-1913). (9)
