A FRENCH SILVER-PLATED PART TEA AND COFFEE-SERVICE
BY CHRISTOFLE, LATE 19TH CENTURY
Each pear-shaped with reeded scroll handles, each engraved with Greek cypher below Greek Royal crown, comprising; three graduated teapots, two coffee-pots, a hot water-jug, a two-handled sugar-bowl and cover and a saucer
the largest teapot 7 in. (18 cm.) high
The cypher is that of King George I of the Hellenes, Prince of Denmark (1845-1913). (8)
