A pair of Kutani dancers, Meiji period
each polychrome group modelled as two dancers with wind-blown robes, the first raising his left leg and holding a fan and the second supporting a drum on his shoulder -- 6 7/16in. (16.3cm.) high; a Kutani group modelled as a Karashishi with a cub on his back -- 6 5/8in. (16.8cm.) wide; and four Imari tokkuri (sake bottle), variously decorated with foliate floral sprays, grape vine and lotus petal panel borders -- maximum 5 15/16in. (15.1cm.) high, all Meiji period. (7)
