Edo-Meiji period (19th century), the fifth illegibly signed
Comprising an Asakusa school stag antler pipecase carved with shaped panels containing flowers, dragons and plovers over waves, the reverse with cloud panel of flowering vines and lozenges, brass pipe; a stag antler pipecase carved as Tenaga on a rock, his arms entwined around the bamboo and metal pipe engraved and inlaid with copper sparrows and bamboo; an Asakusa stag antler pipecase carved with a stylized dragon emerging from a censer in a wisp of smoke, the dragon forming the himotoshi and the smoke carved in circular whorls continuing on the black-lacquer top, with a leather tobacco pouch with a dragon and vajra clasp, ivory lion ojime; an ivory pipecase carved with a man seated by a lantern holding a knife carved in high relief; an ivory pipecase with a mask carver carving the long nose of a Tengu mask in high relief
