A Chinese white metal framed mirror with jade pendants, late 18th early 19th century
of oval form with three rectangular pendant sections mounted within a white metal frame with relief decoration including figures, birds, vases and florets, the middle section inlaid with a white jade plaque carved with a front-faced dragon coiled around the flaming pearl above crested waves, above two hooks with white jade mythical beast heads supporting the lower section with a pale celadon jade plaque pierced and incised with four characters, the reverse of the oval mirror incised with a phoenix -- 24 13/16in. (63cm.) long overall.
