A Large Cantonese famille rose vase, 19th century
of elongated oviform shape with flaring foliate rim, the shoulders with applied gilt decorated dragons, with twin Buddhistic lion and cub handles, decorated in coloured enamels with two large panels depicting warriors and equestrian fighters amongst flying banners running into battle, surrounded by birds amongst peony and chrysanthemum flowersprays -- 52in. (132cm.) high.
