AFTER CLODION, FRENCH, 19TH CENTURY
Depicting a faun seated embracing a maiden and crowning her with a laurel wreath, a young faun holding grapes alongside, all on an integral circular base and a further cippolino marble plinth, the terracotta inscribed 'CLODION 1785' and the base bearing an engraved brass plaque inscribed 'CLODION 1785'
