Lot Essay

Accompanied by Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with pink dial and raised gold indexes in 1940 and its subsequent sale on 27 March 1941. It has never been offered at auction before and is thought to be one of only six examples of reference 534 to appear in public to date.

Manufacture of reference 534 was launched in 1937 and was available in yellow or pink gold and in stainless steel.
