A FINELY-RESTORED EARLY 19TH-CENTURY NAPOLEONIC FRENCH PRISONER-OF-WAR MODEL OF A SECOND-RATE 90-GUN SHIP OF THE LINE
the hull fully planked on the port side, un-planked below the main wale on the starboard, carved figurehead of a Roman Caesar, planked decks with typical fittings and carved decoration, bound masts with standing and running rigging with bone deadeyes and blocks and with two ship's whaler's rigged in, mounted on bone supports on bone and wood marquetry base with bone feet. Measurements overall -- 32¾ x 39in. (83 x 99cm.)
