AN EARLY 19TH-CENTURY NAPOLEONIC FRENCH PRISONER-OF-WAR WATERLINE MODEL OF A 5TH-RATE SHIP
the carved and painted wooden hull with open gun ports with guns, carved warrior figurehead and quarter galleries, simple deck fittings, bound and painted lower masts, standing and running rigging, set in a painted seacape with pinnaces each side and wooden cannon on each corner with a glazed wooden case. Measurements overall -- 14½ x 18¼ x 7½in. (37 x 46.5 x 19cm.)
