A LATE 18TH CENTURY GOLD QUARTER REPEATING PAIR CASED CYLINDER POCKETWATCH
The frosted gilt chain fusee movement with pierced balance cock, cylinder escapement and repeating on bell mounted within the case back, with gilt dust cap, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals and blued steel serpent hands, in polished case with pierced sound frets and matching polished outer case, with plunge pendant repeating and button for alteration from bell to dumb repeating in the band, circa 1780
