YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARK WITHIN DOUBLE CIRCLES AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735)

The vase of slender inverted baluster form with flaring foot and short neck, evenly applied to the exterior with a thick dark-purple blue glaze, the mouth rim, interior and base glazed white

Compare with a similar Yongzheng vase of this rare form from the Huth Collection, sold at Sotheby's London, 26 April 1966, lot 111; and to another decorated in green and black originally from an American private collection sold in these Rooms, 26 September 1989, lot 630 and again 29 April 2001, lot 549.
