An archaistic white and russet jade cup, 17th 18th century
the oval cup with deep flared sides, raised on a short foot, carved in high relief with a sinuous chilong clambering over one side with its front feet reaching the rim, the body carved in low relief with an archaistic geometric scroll reserved on a leiwen ground, with a geometric pattern below the rim, the stone of grey-white tone with russet inclusions -- 3¾in. (9.5cm.) wide, wood stand; and a celadon jade cup, with deep waisted sides, flanked by two chilong handles with bi-furcated tails, with incised geometric pattern bands below the rim, 19th century, wood stand.
