A pale celadon jade carving of a horse, 18th century
the mythical horse carved standing four-square above a sea of crested turbulant waves, its head lowered down, with a finely incised mane and tail, the stone of pale celadon tone with russet inclusions, pierced for suspension -- 2 1/16in. (5.2cm.) long, wood stand.
