BY THE IMPERIAL PORCELAIN FACTORY, St. Petersburg, the first period of Alexander II, the second period of Nicholas I
Circular, white ground, the first painted with a gold central scrolling rosette, within gilt band and further cinnabar band around the border, enriched with alternating anthemions and stylized blossoms; the second decorated on the border in multi-coloured patterns to resemble stained glass between gilt bands, each marked under base
